Terrible Customer service and menu changes while serving food. I visit Aya thrice a month with my wife and kid .Since I am on a low carb, high protein diet , there are very little options around in wimbledon. Yesterday , I visited this restaurant to treat my friend and his family last night and was terribly upset with the customer support and food .- I ordred aya mixed grill and I was served without shawarma . I asked the waitress about this and the I was informed, they run out of shawarma and had replaced it with chicken kofta without informing me. Due to my diet restriction, I always avoid koftas as I suspect the meat is processed. I had to content with just chicken and lamb cubes and shared the rest with others.- We had to wait for the coffee and the sweet , which was part of the vegetarian platter menu we ordered. I asked the waitress and they were not sure it was part of the menu. They had to recheck their menu before reconfirming and providing us with the coffee .I was terribly upset with the food and customer service. I have experienced , the customer support degraded in the last couple of visits.I will look around for an alternative and I would not prefer to visit here again .
Terrible customer service. Having used this restaurant for home delivery over several months, tonight will be the final time.The food is usually lovely and fresh but generally hit and miss as to whether you are going to get what you paid for.We purchased the set menu and made two changes to dishes (swapping for cheaper non meat alternatives) which did not seem to pose an issue for them at the time.When the food arrived several of the components of the set menu were missing and over an hour after alerting them of the missing items we were still waiting for them. The manger seemed unbothered by this and we were told they were too busy to deal with it and usually these components do not get delivered with home delivery. (Unusual as every other time we have ordered them, we have received them??!)I would use this restaurant with a degree of caution, we have found the food good, but don’t feel that the hassle that’s accompanies it is at all worth it!
Terrible food. Customer service is very poor. Manager is unhappy with his job and make all customers unhappy too. Too RUDE!!! Avoid!!!!!
BAD BAD BAD. I been there yesterday with 18 guests and I felt embarrassing how rude the manager was. No customer service at all!!! All my guests complained and was no need for that. The food was dry and that was my lest time in that place. I had lamb cutlets from the menu and was 12.95 for 3 mini cutlet over cook and dry. AVOID AVOID AVOID
A massive disappointment. Overly expensive food, no flavour, everything on the main course turned up looking the same shape. Couple of tablespoons of sauces, few tablespoons of rice to accompany the main course. Do not recommend this establishment either for it’s quality for food or for value for money.
Fantastic mixed grill. If eating in with 4 ppl, get the set meal – 25 a head, but loads of great food. Take your own alcohol
Had the delivery – quite pleasant – best babaganosh ever had. So smoky.
