This was undoubtedly one of the best, but sadly the one of the family who ran it passed away. I believe the same family owns the (also excellent) Adams fish and chip shop on Kingston Road near South Wimbledon Station.
This is the best local fish and chip shop in our area. Prices are great considering it is in the centre of Wimbledon. Fish is always fresh and the portion sizes are huge. Go early on a Friday evening or you will have to queue!
