Me and my friend had a quick lunch at this relatively new Turkish restaurant in Enfield Town last week. Decor is nice and crisp. Waiters, however, need a crash course in English. The person who asked us if we were interested in the special lunch offer indicated what appeared to be a plate of mixed kebabs along with rice. What came was rice and beef stew along with a healthy serving of salad. I thought they were going to bring the kebabs on a separate plate. But it was soon clear that we have ordered just beef stew and rice because I pointed out at beef stew almost at the end of ordering and asked will that be also in the platter and he nodded. Perhaps just silly of me. I should have asked once more. Nevertheless, the beef stew and rice was very tasty. I have to try their doner kebabs some time.
