Excellent Indian food. Have been visiting this place for so many months and each time the food is so consistent and flavourful. Tried the mug tikka labadar, coconut korma peshawar naan. These are my favourite mild curries while my friend likes the lamb roganjosh and spicy karahi chicken. Absolutely love this place with such welcoming staff. Definitely recommend this place.
The options available in Kashmir for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes is good. For starters we had the beetroot and corn kebab, lamb seekh kebab and galouti kebab. The first two were very good, tasty and moist but I was quite disappointed with the galouti kebab as they were over-spiced.For the mains we had the chicken roganjosh which was very spicy but extremely flavourful. We also tried the kashmiri specialty rista which is lamb mice balls in red gravy, it was good but not to my liking, again overly spiced and very heavy. It was quite difficult to finish the dish. The mains were accompanied by garlic naans which were very soft and fluffy. Overall it was a good experience as they get a big copper pot in the beginning to was your hands as a kashmiri tradition. I found this was a nice touch and the decor is suitable for a kashmiri restaurant and makes the time one spends there quite pleasant. In terms of food, I would say is quite average, not keen on a second visit.
