Cute, local coffee shop and sandwich bar a short walk from Southfields station. Service is friendly, though it’s a little cramped inside so I prefer take-away.The menu is quite small but everything is made to order. Prices are reasonable. morethangreens.com
I can’t recommend Salt and Pepper more. This cute little eatery does fantastic cakes and coffee, but the lunches are amazing . Locally sourced product cooked in front of you ..had the breakfast (0f kings !) yesterday .. Just stunning .. A lovely local which welcomes families and the odd abandoned teddy bear ! Gifts and home made product (chutneys ) also available for great Christmas gifts or last minute presents ..
Amazing food and service. Try their chicken lunch and any dessert available, you will not be sorry. They also offer amazing catering services, used them twice and received soooooo many compliments on the food (wish i could have taken the credit). The cafe is down Replingham road past main row of shops, however you will not be sorry walking that extra 2-3 minutes for the exceptional food you will receive.
Bad customer service. Miserable environment.. From the outside Salt and Pepper looks like a pleasant establishment. Unfortunetely I can not say the same for inside. I’m not sure if the guy with the beard working in there is angry with his job but he is the most miserable barrista I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet. I’ll be surprised if he’s the owner as you wouldn’t tarnish your business like that. If the owner is reading this please up he’s wages or have a chat with him about how he greats customers.I will certainly never return.
Hmm. Food was good and would have returned more than twice but the owner was frankly rude.
