Spotted Horse, one of my recent foodie stops during my stays in the area. Not the greatest food I am afraid, but a decent place for a glass of wine or pint of beer. We had arrived quite late, so that could have been why the food was not on point, but the chicken was dry, the chicken wings felt like they had been there a while and my dining companion struggled to eat the pulled pork. Next time we will have a bag of crisps and pork scratchings. cookandpour.co.uk
Lovely, cosy pub. They used to do great food, however they no longer cater to vegetarians, which is really disappointing. Still a nice place for Sunday afternoon drinks but wouldn’t eat there. morethangreens.com
It’s a pub. They have standard food and a good selection of beers & ales, the staff leave something to be desired but for a quick pint after work or for a drink on a cloudy afternoon, it works.
Standard chain pub fare. Standard ‘new’ Youngs pub in an old building on Putney High Street…Suits the football fans, and the junior suits. A fairly pricy drinks menu, a few admittedly well kept ales and a standard food menu taking in the full gamut of fried and oven ready pub staples.Fish and chips was bland under a rock solid carapace of batter, served with a quick microwave of minted peas. Sausages, burgers and a handful of pasta dishes make up the menu. Fine for a bite to eat pre or post match, but you’re never going to make a trip here.
