Good food and they take care to customise to your needs. I booked my order for dal and roti online and they still took the trouble to read the instructions and delivered on brief
Terrible experience!!! I ha…. Terrible experience!!!I have been waiting 1h30 for my food and everything arrived cold!! The samosas and the bread were soggy and disgusting, the chicken korma had 5 tiny pieces of chicken in it and tasted nothing apart from coconut milk, it had also the same consistency!!! It was more a soup than anything else! I have read a few good reviews, I don’t know what happened but Ill never try again!!
A real gem. We came across this by accident and loved it – the best Indian food we have had for ages. We tried a selection of dishes and they were all excellent, the children loved the chicken tikka and the lamb korma and my favourite was the spicy fish. The service was great, very attentive without being intrusive. We will definitely be back soon.
Mrs S. Absolutley fantastic, we return all the time. Peaceful ambience, good service and wonderful food, small so book ahead to not be dissappointed
Going the extra yard. Go the extra yard past the door of what used to be Sarkel’s and step inito Triphal. This place deserves to succeeed – polite, friendly service and great food – a different class from so much of what is offered in Indian restaurants in the area. We had a weekday lunch here and it was terrific.
Best Indian in South West London. This is the best place to eat in the Southfileds area, without any doubt. We go here with a young family and they always make a real effort. It is not a white table cloth ‘special occasion’ restaurant’ but the food is fresh, the menu diiferent and the service excellent and friendly. You know how most indian restaurant food tastes the same and although you have150 different types of sauce it is instantly forgetable. Well this is different. You will love it.
Excellent. This is almost certainly the best meal out in Southfields. The food is excellent – tasty, nuanced and well-balanced. The service is friendly. Try the Chicken Chops or the Lamb Salli, or the venerable Tandoori Chicken.Even the prices are good, a steal at around 8 for a main course. Most Indian restaurants that serve modern, well-presented and tasty food would charge twice that.Triphal is right next to another, decidedly average, but bigger Indian (or rather, Bengali, I think) restaurant. Go for the smaller restaurant on the right. You’ll walk away wondering why it isn’t heaving with people, with a big smile on your face and plans to go back.
