Amazing steak restaurant. I had the Rib eye steak and it was to die for. Cut through it like butter. Excellent service and brilliant staff. Will be coming back soon!
Me and the fella went to Green’s for the first time last Wednesday after hearing so many good reviews, and it has now become my new favourite place to go. The food is soooo good!! I had the sirloin steak which was cooked to absolute perfection – tender and juicy and my boyfriend had the XO burger which had to be the biggest, juiciest burger I’d ever seen in real life! Everything about it, the atmosphere, staff, presentation and of course the food was spot-on and I will definitely be going back.
The restaurant serves great food but the service is a hit and miss.Last night we ordered two ribs to share as a starter between 5, the blond hair waiter said he will bring some small plates but they never arrived so we sent our 5 year old boy over to remind him. He brought the plates eventually without an apology.I ordered the Mad Dog on the menu, it was supposed to come with chili sauce but it came with melted cheese instead. When I asked our waiter about it, he took one look at it, walked away and never said or did anything about it. What can I say? The service has to be the worst I have seen. The restaurant is only up the road from where we live and we are always keen to support local restaurant, but it is now unlikely we will go back again.
On a Saturday night in North London, where would a food blogger, a kitchen designer, a restaurant inspector and two other food lovers head out for dinner? Well, the place that has been number three on GQ Magazine’s ‘Top London Nights Out’, of course – that’s Greens Steakhouse anniethingforfood.co.uk
The best steak I ever had in London! I ordered rib-eye that came with chips, roasted garlic and some tomatoes – absolutely lovely! The restaurant was packed (Saturday night) so I definitely advise to book in advance. Staff was lovely – very friendly and helpful. I am looking forward to coming back next week for my girlfriends birthday party!
Steak. Well done30 Aug, 2014Ate here last night with 7 friends and I never write reviews but I had to do this. FANTASTIC!!!! I mean I know it’s trendy and all that and as much as I didn’t think I would like it they just kept on impressing me. Slider burgers to start were amazing, TBone (they called it Porterhouse but looked like a t bone to me) was just the best I had in my life. I didn’t have dessert but they looked great and the cocktails were as good as any Londond cocktail bar. Now I have been I will be back defo. Thanks Greens, we all enjoyed it!
Very nice. We went last night for valentines evening and did ask when booking whether there was going to be a special menu for the evening ,which I was informed that there would be but this didn’t turn out to be the case. ( a little disappointed ). As for the food it really was delicious . The sliders for starters were lovely and the fillet steak was about about as good as it gets. The onion rings and chips were on another level. Overall a lovely evening in a beautifully presented restaurant and very reasonable priced. Book in advance to avoid disappointment
