About
Albion is a cafe and small shop where the vast majority of the food and drink products are British. The cafe serves breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and supper. Following the success of the first Albion, located in Shoreditch, we are pleased to have opened at NEO Bankside in Southwark. Located just behind Tate Modern, the new Albion provides an everyday resource for the nearby office community, local residents and tourists alike. The cafe seats 95 inside and a further 45 outside on our covered and heated terrace. We have a take-away coffee counter and offer an extensive selection of breakfast pastries, buns and bakery goods. We also have a small bar and a food market. Feel free to call in for anything from a mid-morning coffee to an afternoon pot of tea with some biscuits or fruit cake. Equally, a glass of wine or beer after work. Everybody is welcome, whatever the time of day.Details

I hot a leafy side salad well passt it’s due date, but was not charged. The grilled makerel was nice. Quiet on a Sunday, but pricey as everything in this area. Service efficient but not really charming. They sell edible souvenirs.

I’ve had some delicious fish and chips at this place, last night. A part of the kitchen is opened. You can more or less see dishes being cooked. I can recommend it to anyone.
An excellent place to pop in to for lunch. Interesting and diverse menu, reasonably priced with good and friendly service.
Lovely full English breakfast in bright, clean and airy environment. Easily missed behind The Tate Modern but a really nice find. Much better than all the main chains in the vicinity!
