I passed by Bankside with a friend and was enticed inside by the busy bustling atmosphere. This is a traditional greasy spoon caff and we were after some comfort food to escape the cold weather outside. The interior is quite basic, with lots of tables close together and we quickly grabbed one before they all filled up. Staff were really friendly and brought us over menus straight away. I ordered off the breakfast menu, craving a fry up, choosing bacon, eggs and chips and my friend chose a baked potato with beans and cheese. Prices were fantastic, both our meals costing around 3. Our food came very speedily and portions were reasonable. Overall a great spot to pop into for a quick meal with friendly and bustling vibe.
