We ordered the master’s special fish and chips, grilled sea bass and calamari. First comes the cold prawns and bread. The cold prawns are good! The fish and chips is delicious too – Batter is thin and crispy, the fish itself was cooked soft and nice. I also recommend the calamari. Husband had the Grilled sea bass. He said it was good 🙂
Coming from the Midlands I’ve discovered that although London has lots of food to offer sometimes it just can’t get the basics right. But this place puts some fish and chip shops in from home to shame. The fish always test so tender and the chips are great. Huge portions and just so delicious. It’s not a fancy place but the food supercedes all that.
Food was amazing, but the service was pretty dire and very unfriendly. Didn’t even understand what a battered sausage was.. Sauces were cheap and drinks were small. Real let down.
