I was recommended by a friend to try out Spanish tapas. I had the Pataras Bravas, Gambas al ajillo ( prawns in oil), Pulpo a feira (octopus with oil, paprika) & some deep fried whitebait. I wasn’t disappointed, far from it; will definitely visit this place again. I love eating small plates and picking a little of everything, coming from a culture of earing dim sum whilst growing up is a similar principle.

Not a lot spaces to sit, so come early as Waterloo area is always packed. The food is great. There’s no other way to describe it. Had quite a few tapas like chorizo, cod, meatballs, prawns, grilled chicken in a garlic sauce (of some kind), patatas bravas and few other things. All of them fantastic. The service is fast, but due to the sheer number of people, they have to just pick up an order and deliver food. no small talk whatsoever. It’s a busy place. Much like controlled chaos. More on the chaos side.A bit on the expensive side, but then again, tapas is not something that is cheap outside Iberian Peninsula.Good place.

Went for dinner last night. I would definitely recommend a booking as the space isn’t big and it gets really crowded. we’ve managed to get a space at the bar and it was the last ones available. we had the chorizo, patatas bravas, albondigas, gambas al aglio, lamb and the cod fish with a glass of wine. Food-wise it’s really nice and tasty and the portions are the perfect size for tapas. But, maybe because it was quite crowded, didn’t found the service that great neither a memorable place to go. Maybe will give it a go outside of dinner rush hour misslillysjourneys.wordpress.com

I’m amazed this has a rating of 4. We are visiting london and went here on a recommendation, but wish we hadn’t. I’m all for fast service, but when your 5 dishes come out 3 minutes after ordering it’s clear the food isn’t fresh. The food was only tepid, and tasted like it had been quickly nuked to reheat it rather than cooked to order. Everything was also very overcooked, leaving the lamb so dry it was hard to even swallow it, and the green beans limp and completely flavorless. The only saving graces were the Jamon y queso, which needed no cooking; the price; and the speed – from entering to leaving was less than 30 minutes.

From India, with love. On my wishlist when i visit from India someday, Juan Mata recommends.

Not as refined as a modern day tapas bar, but the food was nice and they make up for it with the serving size/prices.
