Clearly, cook doesn’t know about the indian spices. I ordered chicken and roti. service is good until the customers did start coming in. afterwards, no one was available to collect the bill. low than mediocre ambience. . eatable food. you can go there if its the last restaurant open in the whole bay.

Disappointing Indian joint near Waterloo and Southwark stations so many are perfectly acceptable that I found the lack of flavours in this restaurant a real shame.4 of us ordered a medley of food between us service was friendly and polite but that still cant make up for the fact that the food effectively tasted of absolutely nothing. There was no zing, no flavour, no spice and this despite the fact wed ordered a few of the spicy dishes! We actually ordered a round of pickle and liberally dunked our naans in them to make up for a lack of taste, the net result being that we could have ordered simply naan and pickle and had the same flavour result. inher30s.com

Kerala fish curry at Spice of India. All the bars and restaurants were heaving along The Cut last night (a Friday night). We chose to eat at Spice of India firstly because – on the spur of the moment – we both fancied Indian food , and this restaurant had some free tables. I had kerala fish curry on coconut rice, along with a side dish of paneer (Indian cheese) and both were excellent. Service was good and they had a decent wine list too (which isn’t always the norm in Indian restaurants). I’d go again. louble.wordpress.com

We did not get all the food we have ordered. When we paid, including 12 per cent tip, the waiter behaved very rude. No thanking at all.
