Baroosh offers more class than the other drinkeries in Staines. It does so, in my opinion, at the cost of some of its heart. They sell a standard drinks list. The bouncers are often a bit smarmy, even if you’re only passing the place on the high street.If you’re in a big group, a pub has more room and is less formal. If you’re a couple, this might be perfect for a lower-key drink or two.
Baroosh is probably one of the more stylist places in Staines. Whilst the under 21s head over to The George, Baroosh is left for the classier drinker, for a smarter affair. Unlike The George they have some rather strict standards: My mother once got kicked out for wearing converse on a Saturday night. What is nice about Baroosh is that they have a permanent artist exhibition, which is the only reason I visit.
