Was part of a large group booking. Food was ok, just ok. Nothing to write home about. What was very disappointing was the air conditioning. It was like a sauna in there and repeated requests to increase the cooling were not adhered to. Service was ok.
I’d my babies’ first B’Day party at Roshini restaurant in Staines. The service was very poor as the staff knew that we will be paying anyways for the number of guests we have booked for therefore didn’t care of giving us service. We have to keep on looking for staff for service and have to request a number of times for petty things like get us spoons, refill dishes etc.I fixed the price per person with the owner Mr Shirish and he assured me that I do not have to pay taxes etc on top of the price we fixed. As I was the host and busy attending guest therefore did not go through the cheque/bill in detail and later found out that they have overcharged me with around 40.I have been trying to resolve the issue with the owner and he is not responding to my calls or text messages. This clearly shows that the staff and the owner is not honest and professional enough to resolve customer queries.I ended up paying an excess of approx. 110 for the guests who didn’t turn up and the excess charges added in the bill.Not recommending anyone for parties.
Roshni is the first restaurant i visited when i came to Staines. Going with the Indian cuisine as my favourite and havin a tooth for Indian taste, i liked the food, ambience of this place. Service needs to be improved a bit. But overall I am happy to go for frequent lunches or dinner here.
