I’ve eaten in Abokado every day for three days – mostly because it’s right next to where I work. It’s a nice little place (with free wifi) with limited seating. Most of the food I’ve tried so far has been excellent, with one exception – the noodles. They aren’t terrible, they just aren’t up to scratch for the price or in line with the quality of some of the other menu options.Breakfast is my favourite meal at Abokado. The multi seed bagel filled with avocado, shichimi and sea salt is delicious and my top pick. The bacon sandwich, served in a pretzel roll, has the perfect amount of ketchup and sauce, and using the pretzel roll for it adds a nice touch. The yoghurt and chia pots are pretty good too, maybe slightly overpriced. For lunch my pick are the ‘salads’, in particular the chicken and avocado one. It’s a good portion size, tastes fresh and is well prepared with some good additions, like a hard boiled egg. I would definitely recommend Abokado, and I do keep returning, you just need to pick the right dish.Just to add – my noodles weren’t microwaved (at least not in front of me!) as suggested in a previous review. They were kept warm in a heated cabinet.
