I get the impression this place continually gets overlooked when judging the establishments of Brick Lane, however despite its modest appearance, the food is simply superb, and authentic, and you feel as if you’re stepping into a Bengali home. We thoroughly enjoyed the few dishes we ordered – a juicy chicken curry with an aromatic sauce, hilsa masala with beans, pickles, dal and a generous portion of rice to soak them up. The service was attentive and informal.
