I’m another one who was drawn in by the branding and exterior. The minimal interview white and blue colour scheme is appealing, and it’s very clean. But the food wasn’t a disappointment. I went for the chicken souvlaki. Much like a fancy chicken shush kebab in a lovely thick warm wrap, with fresh salad and tzatziki. Not quite as good as gyros I’ve had but not bad at all. I’ll try the lamb next. The regular size is pretty filling, and I saw another diner with the ‘mega’ souvlaki which certainly was big! For the price and the area this is a pretty good warm lunch option. There is minimal seating, and it’s a little annoying that it’s mostly taken up by people waiting for their food, leaving people wanting to eat in standing. Not the restaurants fault. Staff weren’t particularly friendly, but not rude or anything, just got on with their jobs.

This place is great. Like seriously great. If you work in the area you MUST come check it out.I ordered the salad with halloumi which came with bread on the side. It was fantastic. It’s so good to see a salad without lettuce and this one his the spot exactly. Dripping in an amazing dressing with perfectly grilled halloumi for just a fiver, this has become my new lunch staple. Impressed. whatsarahdoes.com
This is how lunch should be done. A lovely vibe, friendly staff and a cracking wrap. Packed with loads of tomato, chicken and halloumi with a dressing. Not cheap but it’s worth it.
I went here for lunch with Jon W and Ash Nauradi (his suggestion). The first thing you notice is how new and clean the place is and steps away from the stereotype of a greasy takeaway place. The menu is quite simple but there is a good variety and I personally feel this makes it easier than having to choose from too many options. I ordered a halloumi wrap and it was decent. The cheese wasn’t burnt, wasn’t too watery and there was a good amount so I got some in every bite. The one flaw was the hummous, plain and flavourless, a little seasoning wouldn’t go amiss. Given its location in Aldgate and the fact that I didn’t try any of the sweets on this occasion I will definitely be coming back!
