Fantastic little coffee/drink house. Lovely atmosphere and a nice selection of beverages. Very friendly staff and decent prices. Looks quite narrow from the outside, but really widened up nearer the bar.

Firstly the service was weird. They ignored us for ages, so then we went to the counter where he took one of our orders (we were a group of 3) then walked away. We stood there for another two minutes untill he came back and got ours as well.We had carrot cake and brownie – both delicious. My friend got granola which was about half a cup for 4.50, she wasn’t happy. The coffee was undrinkable. Won’t be returning anytime soon.

A friend and I decided to try out this little hole in the wall after a trip to the nearby Flower Market. It was a completely unexpected find, hidden behind all the market stalls of the Sunday market, but what a nice little surprise for Sunday brunch. We were seated in the one window that the restaurant has to offer, filled with blooming plants both big and small. The rest of the restaurant looked a bit dim, but kind of added to its bohemian, gritty charm. The overall venue offered a nice, quiet atmosphere to really sit and chat with your dining companion, or to sit and work. The waiters were pretty prompt with the service, if not slightly awkward in their lingery approach. The coffee was beautifully presented and delicious! I had a latte and my friend enjoyed a cappuccino. Both had those beautiful little designs crafted on top and tasted perfect! When you factor in price and quality, the breakfast was great! I opted for the cheese, ham, and tomato croissant. The croissant was perfectly flaky, and the fillings complemented each other nicely, especially the cheese and tomatoes, which were fresh and bursting with flavour. My friend’s dish, however, was the true pice de rsistance . . . a mountainous feast of avocado, sun dried tomatoes and cream cheese on sour dough bread. I was definitely experiencing a bit of order envy!Overall, a nice breakfast and brunch joint with great prices and tasty food!
