Ambiance – it has got outdoor seatings and bar counter is nicely done to. This is full most of the times.Drinks – Beers are very nice and they run happy hours too. Even Prosecco is on happy hour menu and I just loved the Prosecco which they served.Bar bites – Fries – Good quantity and good preparation.Korean chicken – Just loved it. Spicy corn – Dont ever order this.Service – Not so impressive.

Whilst I adore its posh sister restaurant next door, Galvin HOP is slightly disappointing, it’s on the verge of being boring and also expensive for why it is. Picture for the Sunday roast, which was average at best.

Echoing the reviews below – this place provides a cheaper but still high quality alternative to La Chappelle. The restaurant both inside and outside offers a nice atmosphere and the service was generally favourable and the waiters were incredibly polite. We had a table of 7 and all plates were clean and that is not because the portions were small! I eat off the fixed menu and had coppa and pork escalope, whilst my colleagues sampled the lemon sole and the chicken. Recommended.

Glavin Cafe a plenty of vin. Had a fab ladies dinner here on Friday, charcuterie plate to start, delicious, and beef daube, yum yum. Had just enough room after to share a chocolate fondant. Geat place to be glutinous: two bottles of wine, plenty of post dinner drinks, 3 courses each, came to approx 50/head. Waitress slightly unintelligible but very sweet, manager charming. Recommend.
