Not the best fish and chips in the area but its good enough, happy to go here now and again but sometimes the chicken is a bit overcooked and dry and the batter is not amazing.

Incredibly slow service. Three of us went to the one at Petticoat Lane market and ordered as soon as we sat down. It seemed like a good sign when they brought our drinks out immediately. We waited more than half an hour for our food ( 3 x plaice and chips) but it still hadn’t arrived. Other tables that arrived after us had already been served. When we asked the waitress, she said thgat it wold be two minutes. We waited another 10 minutes but still no food. We put money for our drinks on the table and left. The food may or may not be good but we’ll never find out because we won’t be going back.
