Had heard so much about this place and was really expecting a great meal. Unfortunately what unfolded was a location which is in need of a major refurbishment. Ordered the steak which was very chewy and not what I expected. the only positive were the fries which were sprinkled with peri salt. Disappointed.
Steak was mediocre. Not the best ive had. I did ask for it to be cooked medium to well done. It was more on the well done side unfortunately. Nothing spectacular but was nice overall.
This small restaurant located in brick lane has some delicious dishes to offer. As soon as you enter you get a good smell of tasty food. The staff is really helpful and guide you well in making your choices.Recommendation – T-bone steak and rump steak! A really unique African style of steakhouse.Halal- yes
