Really nice place for a dinner for two. The pizza is delicious. The prices are affordable. I would recommend this to every person looking for an Italian restaurant with s nice atmosphere. The service could be a lot better even thought the staff is respectful.
This is a charming little place near Spitafield. I loved the modern and chic interior as well as the ambience. I ordered the swordfish carpaccio which was a first for me and I was extremely happy with it to start off and for the mains I had the gnocchi. It was perfect and a generous portion. I am sure I am going back soon.

emmi-licious (18-08-2013) PEOPLE DONT BE FOULED BY GOOD REVIEWS WHICH ARE LEFT BY THEIR FAMILY AND FRIENDS!!!! First of all I never write reviews, but the food at La Pietra was so nasty. We ordered the T bone steak and I can honestly say that as soon as I put the steak in my mouth it was so nasty that I wanted to cry. I didn’t know what to do, I couldn’t take it down and I couldn’t spit it out in front of everyone around. It just felt like its a raw dead dog’s body that has been left out of the freezer for 6 months and had so badly gone off!!! I actually started wondering if its dog or cat meat in my plate that is how ugly it was! No seasoning or salt, nit tgat wiuld have made any difference. I could never eat something so nasty. Thank God we ordered chips with it and we had the chips to chew. Please don’t be fouled by the other people’s reviews like I was. I then ordered a cake thinking they can’t get that wrong but even the cake was not nice, it was like eating mud mixed with sugar and cocoa. Please avoid and dont waste your money cos you will regret ever going there. Staff were extremely rude and uncaring. AVOID AVOID AVOID
Delicious Pizza. My partner and I regularly eat at La Pietra – it’s our local pizzeria and I am glad it is! The pizza and calzone are giant and you can taste that they have used quality ingredients. The pasta is also fresh and delicious – we are yet to try anything else as the calzone is our favourite! Most pizzas/calzone are around 9-12 however the 10 lunch special is a bargain – pizza/calzone and a glass of wine. Perfect!I can’t recommend this place enough!
