It’s a pleasant space. Light woods, roomy booths, casual atmosphere, no music. Staff were knowledgeable about the food. Our table of four included one person who can’t handle spicey food so we needed advice from the waitress.The other couple were late, and we were famished so ordered some fritters as soon as we were seated. Good flavour but a bit greasy. They did appear on the table quickly.Our mains of Mohinga, Shan noodles and a pork curry were not memorable. Pleasant but maybe on the dusty/stodgy side. However, the two salads we ordered were brightly flavored and astonishingly good. We had the Lahpet, an unusual tea leaf salad, and the ginger salad. The ginger salad wasn’t as aggressive tasting as it sounds and was absolutely delicious. I would definitely order both salads again, but try some different mains.
