I went to Bacco and had a lovely time- the food was superb, the staff were so friendly and attentive and it was just a great night. We had the lamb and the tagliatelle for mains, and for dessert we shared a creme brulee. We were both very impressed; the lamb especially was delicious and worth every penny! The staff were also really nice, our waiter was hilarious and made sure we were well looked after! I highly recommend it; in general this type of restaurant is out of my price range but it was worth it.
There is so much of choice that we were spoilt for choice with Bacco’s menu and ended up ordering alot of food because everything was sounding so delicious! The Parma and mozarella cheese was melting and plentiful and my linguine with rabbit and broad beans was the sort of light, seasonal dish you can normally only find in Italy! Everything distinct, subtle and beautifully presented. Service was courteous and attentive and Bacon has a relaxed and stylish atmosphere. We had a Bartholdi Rose which was pale salmon pink and full of fruit: perfect for the food we ordered. We took advantage of the offer available on one of the websites 50% off starter and main course so the meal was incredible value but I would not think twice about paying full price and will definitely go again as food has completely impressed me alot.
Food is very average given the prices charged. Service and decor are fine.
