Up side: great priceDown side: the food is not really good.I had the jacket potatoe with cheese and ham. It was completely tasteless and poorly cooked. I was very disapointed. The person I was with, on the other hand, had one of the dishes of the day (risotto with chicken) that was alright. So my advice is to pass on the jacket potatoes, and perhaps try one of the dishes of the day, you might get lucky.
I walked into this place for an early breakfast, and was pleasantly surprised to find them serving up a Full English for 4.40. The cheapest breakfast to be found anywhere in Covent Garden!The breakfast was uniformly good, and while it was not exceptional, it was hearty and did manage to keep me happy till lunchtime. Service was polite and quick, and although the place is not very large, there was a steady stream of customers entering this place. Its easy enough to find, since it is located opposite the Covent Garden Travelodge.Their selection of reasonable priced sandwiches is a definite attraction, and I plan to go back to sample their sandwiches the next time I am in the vicinity.
