This one is already a popular spot with LSE students, evident from the perpetual queue that often extends passed the entrance. But at least there are fun coffee-quotes to keep you entertained. The good news is that theres usually space to sit inside, since most people take their daily dose of caffeine fix to go. The community table occupies the breadth of the basement and is equipped with adequate charging points, while the mezzanine floor tends to be slightly noisier, but is well lit and has a lively atmosphere. Safe to say you have enough options. My friends are usually content with their regular fix of scones and tea, but if you fancy something sweet their dessert selection has never disappointed. As far as coffee beverages are concerned word is that they stock beans from Monmouth, London’s holy grail of coffee. My only quibble is that they’re often served lukewarm, and I’m slightly crazy when it comes to having my coffee extra hot!If you’re going for the weekend brunch, I recommend the eggs hollandaise with avocadoes and chorizos, and a chorizo hash. saanyagulati.com
