Not my first trip to a latin american place, but my partner failed to mention that it was also a dance club and it was incredible. better than dancing on ice, really good latin american beats and people dancing very well. the food was great but the entire experience was five star.

best Latin/Brazilian in central london. great food and amazing vibe. cocktails are just delicious and it is not expensive at all compare what you can get around the corner. idea for big groups of friends and dancing lovers (salsa, merengue and bachata)

I came here just for the cabaret show. The menu is quite pricey but the main problem is it’s hard to concentrate on eating when you want to dance XD I didn’t know this place was also a club. I thought I was just eating while watching entertainment but it’s was soo much more!! I loved every song the dj played he was soo good there wasn’t one song I didn’t like 😀 (surprised I know most of the Spanish songs) and I need to leave early but he wouldn’t let me >_< I will come back again absolutely had a loads of fun and there was a lot of hen parties here. Sad that the waitress took my chicken skewers away :(( I didn't get to finished it :'( sniffles

Spent a really enjoyable evening here on a girl’s night out in Covent Garden. Guanabara is open late, which is always a novelty in London, but it really is an experience to visit! They have a Friday night happy hour so us girls made the most of their Caipirinha de Cachaca with tasty pastis (little pastries). For me, the best part of the evening, was the traditional Brazilian dancing and we all chose to join in! laurasworld.co.za

More potential than actual quality. This place is in a perfect location and looks brilliant. Problem is it’s all a bit meh. It’s one of those places that should be amazing but isn’t. It’s a decent night out, the drinks are ok. There are bar snacks which are good.I’ve always had a good night when I’ve been but never felt like I really need to go back there.

I was there yesterday (6/11/11)for the Feijoada Sunday. I absolutely found it a ripp off. A really silly joke. I discovered about the feijoada day on te website which says 10 pounds per head and eat as much as you like. Plus you can have a beer or a Caipirinha. Me, as Brazilian thought would be great as I love Feijoada. I organized a group of 6 people got there and the first disappointment was with the price. It was 12,50 instead of 10 as it said on their website. Anyway I got in with my friends. So, we went to serve ourselves with the Feijoada. It was one of the worst Feijoada I have ever had. Seriously if you buy the one out of a can it’s way better than what I have experienced at Guanabara. It wasn’t a all you can eat meal as how said in their website, again another lie. Rice was ok, couve very grize and de Feijoada itself was seriously only Water and Bone and a few Chirozos floating in the middle. I could get any beans and the stew was so watery. Then, I went to get my Caipirinha at the bar and I couldn’t get it as it says I could have a drink only up to 4 and caipirinha was 6,50. So my friends and had to leave. Too many disappointments. Furthermore, mos staff don’t speak Portuguese. Probably the chef wasn’t Brazilian too. If he/she was they wouldn’t had have never served a Feijoada like that. Finally, if you are thinking to experience a traditional Brazilian feijoada please that would be the last place on earth I would recommend.

Can’t put my finger on it…. I was a little bit disappointed, it has the ingredients to be perfect, very chic inside, quite busy but i felt there was something missing in the atmosphere, cant put my finger on it, was a bit cold in there too. Food was was nice, service ok.
