The custard tart or Pastel de Nata (as it’s known in Portuguese) here, is one of the best I’ve ate so far and that makes me feel like home. There’s nothing like the traditional recipe, even though they have with chocolate and with apple and cinnamon. I tried this last one and it is really good too. The place itself doesn’t have much place to seat inside, but there are some extra tables outside, which I have to be honest, are only nice if it doesn’t rain or it’s not too cold. I love Nata only sells the custards and coffee, but believe me, it is worth it to go there! Vincenzo Marignoli
These custard tarts are awesome! I Love Nata brings me back home to Lisbon at the first bite! Do try it, good service and great little piece of heaven!
Who loves natas? Natas are the famous Portugese custard tarts. If made the right way the custard is silky smooth and creamy while the pastry is flaky, buttery and light.Enter – I Love Nata – a small little cafe over by Endell St (next to Shaftsbury Avenue). Choose to sit outside if you can or inside (albeit a bit snug). All they do here are coffee, teas and natas….lots and lots of natas. They are simply put….delicious.The ones I have are still warm and as fresh as you like. Some of the best custard tarts I’ve had in London so far.For 2 you can get one of these great little treats, or buy a few in a box for a slightly reduced price per Nata.If you’re in the Covent Garden area I highly recommend taking a quick pit stop here.
A nata cafe! It’s a good place to chill since I have never eaten Portuguese tarts for a long time. They are usually served with cinnamon and sugar.
Fresh Portuguese egg tarts without having to go all the way to Portugal for pasteis de belem? Well you’re in luck! Just go over to Covent Garden to this cute little cafe. Their egg tarts are so fresh and so good! operationgoodfood.wordpress.com
Let’s talk about Portuguese egg custards, because they’re worth talking about, a lot. It seems bizarre that it has taken London this long to become acquainted with them. I love natas award-winning creations are most definitely worth the trek into town. Cafe is small and the lighting is questionable, but there’s free wifi and a decent selection of drinks to accompany the nata. Service was brilliant.
O espao pequeno mas acolhedor e com um atendimento cheio de simpatia! Vale a pena a visita uma vez que os pasteis de nata so realmente deliciosos.
