Had the most delicious pork broth ramen followed by a nice walk at Russel Square. Made for a lovely afternoon indeed. The dumplings were fine, nothing extraordinary. But the ramen is what you’ll go here for anyway.I need to pay another visit soon.
Been to ippudo several times but this one stands out only because of our server, Hugo! Never come across such an amazing guy so good at his job! So polite and overall fantastic service!!
This is a warm and welcoming restaurant. Their specialty lies in ramen. The ramen served here is excellent, also the stuffed buns are a good option.Draught Asahi is a must with food. Although, the service is a tad bit slow, the food will more than make up for the lost time.
I loveeeee the ramen!! As I don’t eat pork, I usually go with the vegetarian ramen. And I do think it’s amazing! Super delicious! I love the thick, flavourful broth that goes really well with the mushroom and the tofu! And I always order the extra karaka miso as I love a bit of spice (although I must say it’s not spicy at all), but it’s better than nothing. It is a must whenever I’m in London.Sometimes, if I still have space in my stomach after finishing the bowl of ramen, I also order the houji-cha pudding! It’s super delish!
Ambience – a mix of great RnB and popular pop music welcomes you with adequate seating spread across the floor. The restrooms are a bummer being located almost a floor and a half into the basement. Staff – polite, friendly and warm!Food – the Karaage salad is a warming mix of cold salad leaves dressed with sweet sour vinegar and the hot chicken fried thrown in!The Karaka Spicy Men – the flagship ramen of the Ippudo brand does not disappoint! Lights up the senses with the miso paste and a choice of the texture of the noodles from soft to hard!Price – definitely expensive as there are much cheaper ramen serving places located within a 10 minute walk from here!
Went there for lunch on wednesday afternoon and had to wait for 10 minutes. I ordered the veggie ramen broth with extra chilli and sake. This is the only place I know that has veg ramen. The soup was perfect and they will replace the noodles as many times as you want. Hot sake went well with the cold weather outside. The cost is also low. Would definitely go again.Edit: I have been here multiple times now and still love this place. Their veg bun is amazing!!
