I absolutely adore this restaurant, they have delicious pastries and an assortment of wines, my two biggest weaknesses. If you’re looking for warm atmosphere, friendly faces and tasty treats definitely try out La Gourmandina.P.s. You must try their profiteroles, you will not regret it.

I absolutely loved discovering this little gem just off the bustling Main Street in Holborn. We were greeted with genuine smiles from the friendly staff who were very attentive and accommodating. There is a lovely seating area situated beyond the counter which is great for families, it is very child-friendly. For those of you who, like myself, enjoy your brunch child-free there are a few tables at the front of the establishment and outside which is just glorious in the sunshine. The menu boasted a wide variety of options and plenty of continental combinations to choose from. As I am lactose intolerant I asked what I could have and was told ‘just tell me what you want and we can make it happen’ so with that I wrangled myself a tailor-made egg-tastic feast that hit the spot. The atmosphere is just so chilled and relaxed, I can’t wait to go back!

I live in the area and tried this new place. Everything is either Italian or French as the couple owning the place. Really enjoyed the food, a lot around cheese and cured meats, really delicious. I’m a big cheese lover so couldn’t be happier. They have a very nice room in the back that you can’t see from the street. Definitely to try out.
