Had a late dinner here, a nice pub setting but without being too noisy. Had the bangers and mash with a couple of ales. The food portions were fair sized and the quality good, the prices were a bit steep but this possibly due to it being in a prime tourist location, if you’re in the area it may be worth your while popping in for something to eat but you wouldn’t necessarily be missing out if you didn’t….
This place definitely exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere feels very open and welcoming with rich, warm wooden furniture and friendly service. The fish and chips were really good. The fish was crispy on the outside and soft, melt-in-your-mouth on the inside so no complaints about the food experience what so ever!
