Great place for latin dance lovers! Undoubtedly one of the best latin bars I have been to. They have regular classes from 7 to 9pm – different dance styles and levels. From 9PM onwards they have a latin themed party every night! Personally, I love going there on Thursdays and Sundays. The instructors are very good and fun and the bar offers happy hours from 5pm to 8pm! Free entry before 9pm guys! Love their signature cocktails!Would recommend this place to everyone for sure.

I’ve been here couple of times so far It’s the best Latin place to be and had fun night. They have good selection of cocktails. It’s always busy during Saturday as I expected and it gets even busier in the dance floor. They have mixture of music Latin and current music mix. Before the nightclub begins, there is salsa lesson’s. All in all its great choice for fun night.

Salsa! is probably my favourite Latin American restaurant in the centre of London as their excellent cocktails, fantastic food and enchanting salsa rhythms are more than enough to get you marching to their beat. The bar and restaurant can be found underground via an aged wooden staircase. The walls are teaming with Latin American memorabilia and the rustic wooden decor makes you feel like youve been transported to a salsa bar in the heart of Spain. The fajitas were very filling and mine was served with succulent chicken breast marinated with Latin American herbs and spices along with diced onions, chillies and peppers. The cocktails here, while also very nice, offered little variation from your usual mojitos and daiquiris. The main attraction to the place is definitely the large dance floor situated downstairs, as they really do encourage everyone to get up and boogie. You have everyone, from salsa experts to beginners, all just there to have a good time so jumping onto the dance floor is a MUST, regardless of your dancing ability.Overall, Salsa! is a fun and very upbeat place that offers you the chance to indulge in Latin American culture without the travel. If youre willing to try new things and looking for a place to dance the night away, this is a restaurant you simply must visit.

This is one of my really favourite places when it comes to food, coctails and Latin rhythms.Location: Bar Salsa is located in Soho, roughly 7 min away from Holborn, Leicester Square and Covent Garden tube stations.Environment: The bar is situated underground with wooden stairs all the way leading to the big dance floor and dining area. It is a bar appropriate for casual dinner, taking classes or having a night out with a mixture of coctails.Food: The food is Mexican and Latin American, but my favourite dishes are the calamares, patatas bravas, the chorizos and the paella board which you can share. In a combination with alcohol, two can spend around 50 there.Definitely recommend it to all fans of spices, Latin rhythms and mexican vibes.

Bar Salsa is definitely going to become a favourite place of mine to visit on a regular basis. I discovered it two weekends ago whilst exploring Soho, Covent Garden and Leicester Square with a friend. We were keen to catch up and so wanted to find a bar to sit down and have a relaxing drink. We were attracted to Bar Salsa instantly due to its vibrancy and fairy lights (very girly I know) but they really would look lovely in the evening too!We went into the bar whichset alight your senses. You just don’t know where to look! It haschic furnishingsand quirky murals/paintings on the walls whichwere so bright and vibrant! Being a creative pair we werebecame very intrigued by the venueandtook a look around downstairs.Downstairs was the ‘club/bar’ area very dim let with an array oflights (even disco lights on the dance floor)featuring different levels of flooring. It was soexhilarating; we instantly wanted to return on another occasion especially after we discovered they offer salsanights forminimal money. The thought of dancing away to theSpanish club music soon becametoo much for us and we decided to return later on with boyfriends in tow (of course they wanted tosalsa who wouldn’t?!).We ordered a bottle of wine to share which was good value for money. They also informed us that it would soon be happy hour and all cocktails would be at least half price! We were definitely staying! We sat in the outside courtyard in the sun which was lovely. The ambiance was great with people chatting away, we didn’t even notice the big, busy main road next to us! Happy hour soon arose and we ordered two cocktails at the downstairs bar. These were delicious, some of the best cocktails we had ever had!If we hadn’t had to have left to meet my friend’s boyfriend we would have stayed in there all evening! We did return in the evening but unfortunately didn’t enter as entry price rises after 9:00pm. Although highly disappointed by this we will no doubt return! I rated the Salsa bar a 4.5, we had a delightful experience but we are yet to experience the club and salsa.I definitely recommend any upbeat, easy going person to visit especially if they love music, dancing and cocktails!

Bar Salsa flag. Bar salsa used to be one of the best venues in London for food and salsa. Since the new management and refurbishment the venue has declined in quality and good members.Bar salsa is now a place for tourist and students only. So if you love nasty and greasy food, cheap but average drinks, drunken party people, stinking/flooded toilets and very very poor salsa this is the place for you! PN: Now water must be bought inside and cloakroom is compulsory (thanks to the loss of revenue the club is having!)Cristina

You don’t come here to eat you come here to dance. Salsa! is packed to the rafters every night of the week thanks to its packed schedule of Latin dance classes and club nights. The food is mediocre and the only people who eat here are lost tourists and people who have just finished work and are waiting for their dance class to start. There is a good value happy hour with 2 for 1 on selected beers most nights from 6pm-8pm. But other than that the only reason to visit is for the dancing.
