What a gem!. A few of my friends have been raving on about Amadora I wasn’t sure what all the hype was until I got there!Amazing! The service was just brilliant. The waiter knew the best wines to go with each course. The specials were just beautiful had the pumpkin ravioli was obviously home made. It was all just superb! Then after so long we shared a beautiful homemade canoli, I would go back just for that! Can’t wait to return and will certainly be telling all my friends about this place!
Ate off the a la carte on a dreary Wednesday night, but the place was full. Decor good but tables too small and lighting too bright which harms the atmosphere. Antipasto sharing platter was massive and had the best mozzarella I’ve eaten, as for mains, risotto was very good and lobster special was OK but didn’t make the most of the ingredients. Here’s where it all went wrong, deserts were dismal, tiramisu a particular let down, free Marsala wine with the bill would have been nice had it not been obviously corked and half filled with sediment! Service was eager and polite, if a little intrusive at times. Wine list was good and both wines we had were tasty. All in all, a nice meal but Amadora isn’t a place I’d go out of my way to eat at again. 80 for two, three courses including wine and service.
