Really excellent food for a really reasonable price, here. The menu is diverse, and everything sounds appetising. I had ‘roast rib of rare breed Dexter beef, horseradish cream’ from the Sunday menu. It was astoundingly good. Tender, juicy, almost melt-in-your-mouth good. Just thinking about it makes me hungry. All of the roasts at St Margarets – which give you a nice portion-size of meat, by the way – are bulked up with crispy potatoes and plenty of vegetables. And a yorkie pud, of course. When I asked for more gravy, our attentive waitress brought it over almost immediately.A great dining experience!
