I remember having a lovely jacket potato here with a really nice side salad, which my little girl called a ‘rainbow salad’ cos it was so colourful! My husband had a spaghetti dish with some kind of meat (or maybe clams!?) & really enjoyed it.
Hoping to have great coffee acompanied by some traditional Italian sweets, we went there for a brunch. Unfortunately both the coffees and the pastries were rather disappointing and the staff looked as if they couldn’t be bothered.
Sadly, as expected this place is now closed. Why it opened in the first place was a mystery. Friendly staff but no effort made to sell themselves. Such a pity.
If you want good coffee away from the hustle and bustle of the chain coffee shops then this is a great place to go
Having seen a sign on pavement we made sure we popped in on our next trip into St Albans. Lovely coffee. We had 2 small salads very nice. Sat in little courtyard read free paper. Lovely. We try to avoid the chains. Good luck.
I can only comment of the coffee, which was a great Americano served by pleasant staff. Food was well displayed and looked attractive but we did not try it
