Loft serves the best of British produce, cooked simply but with imagination. We champion local suppliers where possible. The menus draw on chef owner Nick Males 30 years of cooking while also looking to innovate. The wine list offers a wide variety with the addition of fine wines by the glass using the Coravin wine system and a weekly changing book of single bottle finds. Loft is set in a 600-year old building in the heart of the Cathedral Quarter in St Albans and had been fully renovated prior to opening. Guests can enjoy drinks and snacks in the bar, lunch or dinner in the dining room and meetings or parties in the private dining room. Great food and wine and excellent service is at the heart of all we do at Loft. Nick and Louise Male owned acclaimed The Larder restaurant in Clerkenwell and Grays Inn Food in WC1, London. Award-winning chef Nick was Executive Chef at Conran Restaurants and Head of Food Development for Harrods. The Loft team look forward to welcoming you soon.
