About
Welcome to Al-Farid Mezz Bar & Restaurant. Umar ibn Al-Farid was esteemed mystic poet of the Arabs. The owner and head chef have created a thoughtful menu that delights the taste buds. A firm favourite is the mezze; an array of small succulent dishes. The mezze comprises of both cold and hot dishes, offering a wealth of colour, flavour, texture and aroma. An attribute of Moroccan food is the fact that is healthy as well as tasty and filling. A choice of traditional Moroccan desserts complement the meal, expect Baklava; a sweet pastry, and Mhallableyh; rice pudding with rose water. We also have the national drink of Morocco, Arak, which has an aniseed base, and a variety of cocktails to enjoy as well as Casablanca lager. To finish your meal you cannot miss out on our Moroccan coffee, flavoured with natural cardamom, or mint, cinnamon or rose tea. No Moroccan meal is complete without smoking an authentic hooka pipe. Each day the water pipes are packed with fresh flavoured tobaccos.Details

Very good meal. I wouldn’t say it’s the best Moroccan I have had. However stafff were friendly and helpful. Food was adequate. Not shooting the lights out at all.
