About
On the south eastern edge of Plymouth is an eighteenth century pub called the Kings Head which about forty years ago was extended to include a restaurant which was the called the Ships Tavern. The two run as one business which serve a very large suburban the lush hinterland of south Devon. There are two other trip advisor entries within reach, the Lemon Tree and Langdon Court, the first offering fine dining in a bistro setting the other country hotel brasserie. The Ships Tavern while competing offers a cheaper but very good value selection of foods in a biggish restaurant every day and evening. It is very popular and an option that should be better known to people visiting the area. Details on it's website. Worthy of a trip advisor entry.
