I love this place! Been here with friends to (of course) bowl, but then on the side we enjoyed some nice cocktails throughout our night. The fun coloured lights make the ambiance very young and carefree, definitely love the setting of this place.There’s not much else to say about this place, decent cocktails and great bowling, what more could you really ask for? Definitely recommend this place if you live near by and in need of a fun night.
Lava Lanes is a nice combination of cocktails, food and bowling which is difficult to find in surrounding areas. As it is located in the basement, it feels a bit small downstairs due to the low ceilings. There are two areas: bar and bowling. They have a nice variety of cocktails and food; I prefer the Tandoori food they offer to the Italian.There is dim lighting with red seating; a perfect bar ambience that’s modern and funky at the same time. They have an interesting wavy wall at the back of the bowling area.Service is good; we booked a bowling lane (which is smaller that normal because of the space restriction) and the staff set up everything for us. They have bowling shoes if you aren’t wearing trainers.Had a good time, but there was nothing I would rave about or urge you to try.
