Always Good. I eat regularly at the Load of Hay, and have never had anything other than a great meal, reasonably priced and a very nice crowd of customers, i have no hesitation in recommending.
Load of Hay, Loads of Value. A great gem of a local pub. The Load of Hay in Watford offers traddional pub food, and at great value for money. 7 for a home cooked lasagne. Local brought produce supporting local busines. Mark, Dave and Mike have really put the local back in the local pub. Well done guys !!!
One of my favourites. Local, friendly, excellent home cooked and made by the chef himself. Excellent service, but be prepared to wait as it’s a small cosy and extreamy popular. Good roasts to salmon, pie, and the pavaolva is a must. Access difficult to impossible for wheelchair users.
