I went back to Sahara for the first time in 6 years a few days ago. I still can’t really understand why a shisha downstairs costs 12 but if you have the exact same thing upstairs it will cost you 20. Yes there are tables but thats about it. Regardless, the shisha was okay but you have to ask for the coconut coals whereas I think they should come as standard. I have head nothing but good reviews about the food but have never eaten there myself so cannot comment but I will try it out as some stage!
Sahara Lounge is my local place for shisha, and I love to go with friends for some tea and shisha. I prefer to sit upstairs where it is quieter and the seating is more comfortable. The interior is familiar of any Shisha place in London, with large Arabian lanterns and low sofas. The quality of the shisha here is very good, and there is a large selection of flavours. The staff are incredibly attentive, with the coals being changed very often, and without even having to ask.Sahara is a great place for a nice chilled evening, and in addition, the kitchen is open very late if you ever need a late-night snack!
Sahara Lounge is a very popular Shisha Lounge just off Stanmore high street. Many locals visit very often and in the evenings it gets very busy. On Friday nights and weekends, waiting is quite common. It is designed to look like a typical Arabic themed joint; hanging lamps and patterned lounge seating. There is also an upstairs area, however here the shisha is more pricey than downstairs. They have a wide variety of Shisha flavours to choose from and helpful and fast service. To top this off, they have great food – I really like the Chicken Shawarma and Falafel they offer. Both are not too dry, like many other Lebanese places I find.
The shawarma rolls and chicken wings are very healthy and really delicious. We have moved to Stanmore recently and we keep trying new places to eat. And this place is our top favourite.
You will love this place so much that you will dine in at least 4 times a week. Excellent Sheesha, delicious shawarma sandwich and fantastic service. I love their friendly approach and their top customer service. This is the best place to socialise in Stanmore. You will love it.
Do not dine upstairs, staff are rude and rush you out after having spent the best part of
Food Is great but have to do takeaways as it too cold in restaurant and lacks warm charm it should have. Staff are friendly just restaurant interior let’s the food down….
