Good selection of real ales and great bar area.F (Food)In the restaurant, 2/10.Sorry guys, if you keep the menu so brief and you limit the number of specials then it is reasonable to expect the kitchen to deliver a consistently high standard and unfortunately on our two visits that has not been the case. Poor execution of steak timings and sloppy sourcing resulted in disappointment and even more surprisingly….second class chips. The Oddies will be an absolute winner if the kitchen gets up to standard.S (Service)9/10 Bar and restaurant.Spot on. No pressure on customers to eat or use the restaurant; top class hosts and relaxed competent staff in the restaurant. Third visit and the kitchen is finally starting to perform. This time the standards were much improved and it has leapt up my scale of favourite local diners. Has blasted past the Hare and Hounds now and on this performance it will maintain it’s high marks. The menu has improved and the beef cheeks were outstanding.
