First sunny evening on the UK where I happened to be in Brixton. I knew I had to try out this place and take advantage of the seats outside. The menu looked very appetizing as I like menus which are none fussy and condensed. I ordered the salad and although it looked great I found the dressing to be very over powering. Would recommend to people who would like authentic Thai they also allow your own alcahol which seemed to be a hit with the diners around me.

When we arrived we had to wait, but this was to be extremely expected because I knew it was popular. After a while we were seated and my friend went to get drinks. The service was friendly but abrupt. To start we had spring rolls which where average at best. Their crispy coating vastly out weighed the filling. After this we waited for a fair time for our main course; just long enough to start shifting around and start worrying. I has the pad thai with prawns. This was good enough but not worth the hype surrounding the place! Altogether a disappointing meal but luckily not a disgusting one.

I’ve been in this place a hundred of times already and I will be back! Most of the time I order Tom Yum Goong soup which is absolutely delicious <3 last time when I had a flu my boyfriend went there and bought me 4 of them :O that must mean something ;)Also padthai noodles are my favourite one! I didn’t eat any better ones in london.Try it, if you will have a chance to eat there. Place is really popular so sometimes you can see people queueing but it’s doesn’t take to long to get the table and it is worth it!!!It’s is such a lovely place. Little family business. Massive well done xx

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. When Brixton Village first opened this was the place I would recommend everyone to go. Now though, due to the service being the most appalling I have ever experienced, I wouldnt eat here if it was the only place open. Reservations are not honoured, last time I was there I was literally poked out of the way by the manager while asking how long my table would be. The response to my question..’you wait!’ They only allow you an hour to eat and if youre not finished they’ll dump the bill on your table and clear your plates, whether there’s food on there or not. Everything that was lovely about it has gone. There is no interest in customer satisfaction here. Just turning tables. With so many lovely places to eat in Brixton Village, dont waste your time with such rude people.

Rubbish. Awful service and equally awful food. The waitress was rude! Chicken satay was rubbish. Main course we order the pad khap rao chicken and beef. Food was loaded with salt and way too much msg. Great place to visit if you don’t know what Thai food taste likes. Absolutely miffed as to how this restaurant has got so many positive reviews. Wouldn’t recommend it at all to anyone. Shame.

I have been here on three separate occasions and I have not had a bad meal here. In fact, I have not had anything but earthshakingly good Thai food. The menu is small but because of its size I think it’s virtually impossible to make a bad or even mediocre choice here. If you haven’t been, just go – you will not regret it.

Not as good as it used to be. As we live very close to the Village we’ve eaten at Koasarn many times since it opened and at first, it was great. However, as the prices have gone up the quality got poorer. Tonight, thursday night – not too busy, we ordered a take-away of two pad thai; one chicken and one prawn. The noodles were obviously not fresh and stuck together, there was no tofu (as the menu states) and the prawns were really tasteless. I don’t eat meat so I was not very pleased at finding old bits of alien pork in my prawn pad thai either. When we phoned koasarn to complain, they were difficult about offering a refund and didn’t offer any apologies either. All in all; really not good, and with all that Brixton Village has to offer we won’t be rushing back here anytime soon.
