The cupcakes are super-pretty with thick icing so they’re incredibly rich! Ms. Cupcake is a specialist bakery in South London dedicated to providing vegan, wheat-free and gluten-free baked goods. This bakery has a wide range of treats available and is definitely worth a visit regardless of your dietary status. Try a Red Velvet Cupcake, which packs a punch with its moist sponge and rich frosting or go for a slice of Carrot Cake, consisting of a wonderfully spiced base and a melt-in-the-mouth cream cheese frosting. Cupcakes are 2.50 each, except on a Monday, when you will find all cupcakes are 2.Ms. Cupcake is a five-minute walk from Brixton tube station.
This is definitely my handy dandy cake shop for gifts. The reason being is that the cakes a beauty lily decorated with cute quirky looking designs . However, the cakes themselves do lack a little moisture and tend to be dry and crumbly. In terms of service it’s 50/50 on certain days; it depends on the moods of the staff . (Not great) If you’re vegan this will be cake heaven as for dairy lovers, this is just a convenient cake shop whilst doing your shopping in the market.
My final stop for dessert, Ms. Cupcake, is known to be the naughtiest vegan cake shop in town.Ms. Cupcake is a 1950s style open plan bakery where everything is baked and decorated fresh onsite each and every day of the year.Ms. Cupcake is renowned in London for its cookies, brownies, layer cakes, muffins especially the doughnuts.Personally I couldn’t go past the chocolate and vanilla biscuit sandwich, while my partner in crime decided on the Malibu Cupcake. After chatting with the owner, Mellissa (aka. Ms. Cupcake), you get a sense of her pride and passion for her shop and for Brixton.
