As canal boaters we moored close by and were made most welcome by the new hosts of this pub. We had lunch there twice and enjoyed both visits. Would be ideal on a sunny day as it has a large terrace overlooking the canal.
Returned for second time as previous lunch also great, and not disappointed. Great place to stop on a walk. Canalside pretty setting. Warm and friendly staff and delicious, super value sandwiches with chips and salad. Beer good too! All you want from a good pub.
