I don’t go this far up North regularly. Dalston tends to be my cut off point but now i can see its appeal for some. Gentrification at its best with hispter bars. Inflated pricing for the cool set. This bar manages to hold on to some redeeming features with its cool staff, Chase, and a basement kitted out for gigs. This is what brought me here to this trainless area. I do love a bus ride though. Anyway, yes, live music is the one. Small intimate crowd bopping their head to the beat. If i lived closer, it could be on my rotation. cookandpour.co.uk
I had the prawns as a starter which was lovely and the steam and chips which I ordered medium and got well done and tasteless. But other people had the phad thai and the burgers loved the food. So I’d say it’s not a good steak place lol. Forgot to take pics though sorry guys I was too hungry!
