Not for real Thai food lovers. Probably one of the least tasty Thai meals I have had. I took my friend who was an Olympic visit from abroad to the Epsom Thai. It was a last night special meal and I was embarrassed at the low quality. The Tom yum soup we had was really salty and tasted nothing like Tom YumTom yum is characterised by its distinct hot and sour flavours and fragrant herbs such as lemon grass, kaffir lime leaves, galangal, lime juice, fish sauce and crushed chili peppers. All we could taste was fish sauce, nothing else. I certainly missed the gingery galangal and citrus lime leaves, not cheap but if you are going to serve Thai food they should be included. We next had, Pad Thai and drunken duck. The pad Thai wasn’t great and came without any lime which i have never seen before. When i asked for lime the waitress silently put a slice of lemon on the table and walked off. I had to use it on my duck to give it some flavour but that did not improve the grey tasteless dish.I absolutely love Thai and have eaten many in my time, its usually the fragrance of the dishes and even the rice that gives me so much pleasure. They had used cheap white rice which was hard and certainly not ‘fragrant or even tasty. The waitress seemed irritated and rushed so we couldn’t really communicate. On the bright side, the restaurant is nicely laid out and the other waitress was friendly and smiley enough but they were understaffed. I used to go here years ago and its changed, not for the good. I really hope they get a different chef and look at using fresh ingredients to bring back the flavour to the dishes.

Thai this out!. Beautiful decor, typically Thai with flair. Clean and presentable restaurant with polite gown-uniformed staff, giving you a very authenic feel of Thailand. Well laid out menu with plenty to choose from, catering for most tastes from curries to stir frys and noodles to coconut desserts. Everything you would expect to find from a Thai menu is there. Food is well presented yet is not of gourmet quality, the food is still excellent and tasty to eat. Chicken Satay or the Dumplings is a must, as well as the noodles if not having rice. The curries are full flavour and spicy where mentioned. Service is prompt and always happy to make sure you enjoy your visit. They offer a take away and delivery service too. Be sure to thai this out.
