It was nice to see a Malaysian restaurant in Westfield after a long day of shopping. I was really attracted to the nice decor which was something different from other places. Food wise I would recommend the mee goreng mamak and satay!

Bought noodles with chicken this morning. I could tell the chicken was not fresh. It tasted vile. Im not going there again. Food is also not well presented. It was definitely microwaved may be left over.

unfortunately i did not like this place at all. Probably the worst Malaysian food I’ve ever had. ordered Chicken Satay was just coated in galangal. Also ordered Nasi Lemak Ayam and Nasi Goreng. both main dishes were horrid. nasi lemak chicken was full of ginger. Nasi goreng was the worst: straight from frozen vedgetablesand barely thawed chicken. the place is quite small but looks really nice. staff were not very attentive.

Finally some decent penang laksa in the UK! The portion was double the size to those we usually find in Malaysia. They had every garnish like otak udang etc. to go with it too. That was 8.60 spent without an ounce of regret.

The sizzling Yee Mee with a delicously rich gravy and gooey egg is one of our favourite Malaysian dishes. The Malaysian pancakes tasted like standard pancakes, nothing extra ordinary. However, the chicken curry flavour was intense, tangy and delicously addictive. The prices are a little high and the place is very small, especially with young children and for that reason I have rated it 3.5 instead of 4.

Great food and atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed Mee Kari Ipoh and Sizzling Yee Mee but only after sampling their famous Curry Puffs to wet our appetite. The kids menu was good and thoughtfully designed to be healthy and attractive. They even have an original ice shaver for authentic ABC’c ! Overall a smashing experience

The foodDefinitely go for:curry puffs 3.50 spiral curry puffs are laborious and oh, so delicious. They carry a hint of spice with the sweet potato filling, not too oily, I think these are simply the best I have had!roti canai 5.50 the texture is right but the curry was a little sweet. It needs a little punch. And the rest of the food:grilled lamb skewers 6.50, grilled chicken skewers 5.50 I think the peanut sauce is quite mild and a little too sweet. nasi lemak with beef rendang 8.90Ipoh curry noodles 7.90Penang char kway teow 8.90 the Malay version of stir-fried noodles. ondeh-ondeh 2.90soya cincau 2.90 does anyone remember the Michael Jackson?? I have probably revealed my age group by saying this!cendol Penang road 3.90 generous drink/dessert for one. The coconut milk is quite thick so can be a little heavy. vi-vian.com
