The ribs were dry and tasteless. I didn’t get a fork for my Food. Fries were like 5 on my plate. The milkshake was pretty good. My friend had their chicken wings which were slightly stake and also tasteless. Very mediocre
I just had two things Pulled pork sandwich which hardly had any meat in it and the second was mushroom burger. I paid for extra cheese yet I couldn’t see so I went back and asked for it. The server simply took my burger put a slice with same hand in front of me and gave me back. She wasn’t sorry for her mistake instead the girl at the till was laughing at this incidence. Will never come back for sure.
This wasn’t my first time at Chicago Rib Shack, Stratford but the last time i was there i was quite disappointed with the quality of the food.I chose to eat a cheese burger and fries; usually the burgers from here are pretty awesome but this last visit i found my burger dry and overcooked and the chips were soggy and greasy, quite unpleasant. The service was slower than usual, staff were cold and disinterested and i could swear the drinks glasses were smaller! All in all, i do think they were having a bad day, but it did leave me feeling rather hesitant in returning anytime soon, well to this branch at least!
While out shopping and needing sustenance, this is a nice meaty option to go for, but my recommendation is to go with the Ribs and avoid the burgers. The ribs are a tiny bit dry but that’s easy to forgive given that this is still a fast food outlet and the sauce that comes with it is very very delicious. The portions are a little small however the chips and coleslaw all combine to make this is a very satisfying fast food choice. inher30s.com
My friend and I were shopping in the weekend here at Stratford when we finally found ourselves a bit hungry. We headed to the world foodcourt and I was looking for some noodles but my friend smelt the ribs. Even tho I didn’t feel like ribs I was glad that we got some. We shared a plate of the baby ribs, BBQ flavours however you can also go spicy. What can I say, it’s so yummy, tender, easily pulled away meat. This was actually the first time my friend had ribs and I’m glad she got to have such delicious ribs. The fries was also very yummy. If I could change anything, it would be to make the ribs more saucier (although that would make the whole affairs a lot messier…), some sauce for the fries and maybe a bit more coleslaw then a small dish of it…I think I may have to go back for more ribs soon!!
This rating was brought up simply because their milk shakes are extremely yum. The rest of the food was so so. Kinda dry and not enough to actually be filling. The experience also changes depending on the mood of the staff that day
I must note that this isn’t an actual restaurant.. It’s in a foodhall, a bit like McDonald’s and Spud U Like. You then go and choose your seat anywhere in the foodhall, which is good if you want ribs here and your partner wants sushi at the next place along. I usually always end up getting the ribs from this place as every other place in the foodhall is the same kind of price anyway. I love the ribs and wings here, with fries & coleslaw on the side. All for 8.50. Trust me, you’ll look around at the other options but you’ll return to this one.
